 ROUNDTABLE EVENTS
              FORMAT

   1) Pre-event preparation materials

                                          Sent 48-hours prior to event (time permitting)

a) relevant short article summaries
b) vocabulary list relevnt to topic

c) vocabulary pronunciation video
d) event sequence and format

                                                            
2) The event

     A 60-minute live, online discussion, with 3-5 participants discussing a topic that they have selected.
     The discussions are moderated by a trained, English language consultant, and follows this sequence.

a) The English Consultant will welcome participants, and review the format of the discussion : 1 minute
b) Each participant introduces themselves, and give their initial position on the topic.  Each participant will      be permitted approximately 3 minutes
c) The consultant wll then invite each participant to ask other participants questions to clarify positions and     opinions. Each participant will be permitted approximately 3 minutes to ask their questions
d) Each participant will have 2 minutes. then comment on, agree or disagree with points mentioned in the      discussion.
e) Free conversation among group,moderated by the English Consultant, will proceed in the time                    remaining


                                               3) A post-event evaluation

      distributed to all participants within 1 week, following the event and will include the following items:

a) Link to a recorded video of the event
b) summary comparative evaluation of the group discussion
c) summary evaluation of each participant
